Here  I explain the system I have in my nurseries to ensure you have the correct information to develop and support your team, the children and their families. I have tweaked and developed this EAL system over the years and it fits effectively with the flexibilities we have in the EYFS where we look at our individual children and assess, evaluate and define what they need.
